At the tender age of fifteen, I embarked on a journey of professional sport that would see me win the
British Super League title in 2004 & 2007, become a world club champion in 2005 & 2008 and proudly represent Great Britain during the 2007 Tri series test win over New Zealand.  My hunger for education coupled with the flexibility of professional sport also meant that I was able to experience a symbiotic relationship between sport and education that resulted in me acquiring a sport and exercise science
degree, in early 2008 at Leeds Metropolitan University.

The coaching, media, Christian faith and corporate environments I have experienced as a
professional sportsman has led me into the path of some of the finest life coaches and
professional speakers life has to offer.  These experiences have given me a passion and
avid interest in management, team building, speaking and journalism; to which at
some level I have been very much involved in recent years.

I have learned how communication with work colleagues amidst the noise of 80
thousand people is vital to success. I have learned that real team cohesion in
the wake of a loss or setback is what bounces you rapidly back to success.
I have learned that knowing and specialising in your role within the team
is what makes the group work more efficiently in achieving success.
