A pod is a coherent long term social unit often used to describe dolphins. We like to think of your
employees as part of a pod, a group of people in a work sense that cannot function without being
socially coherent with one another.

A company survives through communication and a group communicates more effectively when they are
socially coherent. A pod has many positive traits, all of which we aim to develop and harness through our
corporate events.

Pods allow individuals to work with autonomy, being responsible for their own actions, yet having the
interests of the pod at heart.  A solitary dolphin may seek out food alone, yet it never fails to inform
the pod when it has achieved its goal and shares the spoils.

A successful pod interacts well with other species.  Joined up working is fundamental in any
contemporary business setting, many groups and organisations often work together to share
experiences, knowledge and skills, reduce inefficiency and increase power and influence.

A successful pod must work well together, some times as a group but also as
individuals. Increasing the efficiency of each member of the pod is what
will eventually make your pod work.
